Dursun Ozbek, the president of Galatasaray, has announced that Victor Osimhen will stay with the team for the upcoming campaign.
Osimhen played with the Turkish Super Lig champions on loan during the previous season.
The Nigerian international turned down a lucrative offer to join Al-Hilal, a Saudi Pro League team, on Sunday.
Al-Hilal is also prepared to exercise his contract’s €75 million release clause.
In Europe, the 26-year-old is eager to further his career.
Ozbek acknowledged that negotiations are still going on with Osimhen to finalise the contract’s specifics.
The most crucial element will be Victor Osimhen’s affection, who is staying at Galatasaray. He informed Hurriyet that negotiations were still in progress.
